Jong Lee

Attorney Jong has developed his immigration experience through nonprofit service and private practice, providing legal consultations, community workshops, and direct representation in humanitarian relief, removal defense, family-based petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, and appellate matters. His humanitarian work includes asylum, TPS, parole, VAWA self-petitions, U visas, T visas, and VAWA cancellation of removal.

He has handled complex removal defense, family-based, consular processing, and appellate matters, including motions before EOIR, BIA and AAO appeals, inadmissibility waivers, RFE responses, NOID responses, and adjustment of status. He also advises clients on eligibility for immigration benefits and relief, inadmissibility and deportability issues, and the immigration consequences of criminal convictions.

In employment-based matters, Attorney Jong represents employers, physicians, health care professionals, and other professionals in H-1B petitions and extensions, L-1 petitions, E-2 treaty investor visa applications, EB-2 immigrant petitions, including National Interest Waiver petitions, and related USCIS filings.

He is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Christian Legal Society. Before practicing law, Attorney Jong worked in real estate valuation, appraisal review, banking compliance, quality control, and financial risk assessment. He also served as a Sergeant in the Korean Army Chemical Corps.
